- 2 (450 g) New Onions or sweet onions of choice
- 3 tbsp (60 g) honey
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (120-160 ml) vinegar*
Instructions
- Thinly slice the onions with a knife or a mandoline.
- Massage the salt into the onions and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, add the honey to the vinegar and microwave for 45-60 seconds or until hot. Stir the honey until dissolved.
- Squeeze excess liquid out of the onions. Place into a jar and pour the vinegar mixture over the onions. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Serve and enjoy!
